Quality Control Expert, London

A permanent position has become available in the Supply Chain team, assisting the Quality Manager and working closely with the Head Office teams ensuring all Rapha products meet quality and safety requirements.

The Role

  • Responsible for conducting inspections on critical products at factories and feedback to the relevant teams. Inspecting products for quality defects, comparing approved shipment samples for colour, labelling, make up, sizing, packaging requirements, and barcodes.
  • Ensure that the garments are being produced to the required quality standards and measured within tolerance as specified on BOM.
  • Sound experience of AQL systems, both in line and final, are required. Setting standards (both pre and during production) and ensuring consistent quality is key.
  • Testing and Product performance levels: ensure suppliers are following our processes with regard to testing, submission of results and dealing with any resulting actions.
  • Competent in writing technical reports. Set up catalogue and maintain up-to-date library of information including: test reports, factory audits, signed supplier manuals.
  • Work with the Customer Service department to follow up with any issues/faults and communicate with suppliers and relevant departments/stores
  • Log returns, performance and complaints data to drive technical improvements and feedback to the business.
  • Promoting quality and performance enhancement. Liaising with colleagues with regards to ideas and changes that can be made to improve the garment.

The Candidate

  • Preferably educated to graduate level, but not essential.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in fashion or sportswear.
  • Product technical knowledge – risk assessment, safety standards and legal requirements.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of the supply chain and production.
  • Proactive, dynamic interpersonal style, able to act between different departments in a diplomatic, non-confrontational manner.
  • Strong and effective communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and team members.
  • Equally comfortable working autonomously and responding to strict instructions.

Java Developer

IT Operations Manager

Rapha is looking for an IT Operations Manager to help our Production IT Services to run smoothly and efficiently across the globe. Based at London HQ and reporting to the Head of Technology, the IT Operations Manager will lead the IT Helpdesk, Infrastructure suppliers and other supporting application teams. This will be a new team within a fast growing business that has considerable scope for the right candidate to develop their career.

The Role

  • Managing the IT Helpdesk function for Head Office and Cycle Club staff around the world. This is a new capability that will need to be established and managed.
  • Managing the IT Infrastructure and budget, including flexible cloud-based capabilities needed for peaks in demand. This will include website, enterprise (ERP) and cycle clubs (EPOS).
  • Managing the applications and databases to ensure they meet service levels, perform well, are secure and continuously improved (patched).

Product Designer

Customer Service Advisor (German / Italian / Spanish speaking), London

The Role

Product Development Assistant

Product Development Internship (12 months)

HQ Café Assistant, London

The Rapha HQ Café is at the heart of the London office. It provides staff and visitors with great coffee, food and drink and is somewhere to meet and watch road racing on the big screen. It’s the social hub of the UK business and is where employees begin the week with company meetings on Monday and drinks on a Friday.

VM Specialist, UK

The role

Reporting to both the Cycle Club Manager and Visual Merchandiser, the Cycle Club VM Specialist is responsible for ensuring Visual Standards are achieved at all times, creating the perfect setting to deliver the legendary Rapha customer experience. The VM Specialist is seen as a role model within the Cycle Club, educating the Cycle Club team to take a pro-active approach to Visual Merchandising and developing their skill-set to maintain the Visual Standard. Country Manager, Italy

Rapha is a leading brand of premium road cycling clothes and accessories. With headquarters in London, the business sells products directly to the most discerning road cyclists around the world through its Website and Cycle Clubs.

Since its launch in 2004, Rapha has become one of the most desirable cycling brands in the world, widely admired for its high quality products and creative marketing. As part of its European expansion, Rapha has opened a regional headquarters in Munich, Germany. This office handles all European sales and marketing activities outside of the UK.

The European business has grown quickly in both importance and size and Rapha is now looking to strengthen the team by employing an additional Country Manager based in Italy.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of European Sales and Marketing, the candidate will be responsible for raising awareness of the Rapha brand, while acquiring and retaining customers in the region. While working with the wider European Marketing team, this role will be the sole Rapha representative in Italy and the candidate will work remotely, travelling when needed. Key responsibilities include:

The Rapha Cycle Club will be a meeting place for road cyclists to share their love of the sport. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure seamless execution of the Rapha experience by leading the team to engage, develop and maintain relationships with all store visitors.
