Randonnée Southern California

Pro guest

We’re delighted to announce that Tour de France yellow jersey wearer Alex Steida will be joining this Randonnée for its October departure. Alex will be leading some of the rides through the Golden State, and we look forward to his recounting of tales from the European professional peloton.

From deserts to mountain lakes

There are many reasons that Southern California is the off-season base for so many of America’s Pro racers, not least the remarkable climate, Santa Monica mountains, and world famous beaches. The Randonnée Southern California will piece together celebrated routes of the Tour of California with Rapha’s own Continental Rides and Gentlemen’s Races.

Starting in Los Angeles, the route snakes north, taking in both remote inland climbs and stunning coastal roads. The famous Palomar Mountain Road and infamous Mount Baldy both makes appearances on the trip, as do California’s exceptional culinary offerings.
