Head of eCommerce, London

Rapha operates a unique and compelling business model – selling an exclusive performance brand direct to our consumer mainly via our website and through Rapha’s own global retail stores. Our website generates 70%+ of global sales, evenly spread between UK, US, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

This role focuses on website conversion, execution of the Ecommerce roadmap and the continued development of a Multi channel customer experience. It requires strong project management skills and a customer-led mindset. Working closely with the Trading Director the Head of Ecommerce will be key in ensuring the commercial effectiveness of Rapha’s online presence is in synch with the rest of the business.

The Role

  • Develop and execute the Ecommerce strategy, working closely with colleagues in Technology, Web Design and Marketing
  • Maximise the commercial potential of our Ecommerce sales channel by driving sales and margin improvements through commercial understanding of our product, our customers and our internal capabilities.
  • Drive improvements in customer conversion such as purchase path, check out, website functionality and usability.
  • Manage the ongoing optimisation of online search and merchandising including taxonomy, facet optimisation, search effectiveness, product recommendations and personalisation.
  • Work with Marketing on developing online campaign execution and broadening campaign reach through digital channel
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure the user experience and customer conversion for each regional locale is optimised
  • Develop and execute plans to broaden the geographic reach of the brand to agreed geographies
  • Effectively communicate the Ecommerce roadmap to the business, demonstrating support for and prioritisation against business drivers
  • Play a substantive role in the budgeting and trading processes, working with regions to forecast and execute web sales and web metrics

 The Candidate

  • 8+ years Ecommerce experience with at least 2 years in Head of equivalent role.
  • Strong data driven skill set-comfortable with data manipulation, AB/MVT testing, Data and Analytics tools, Site Merch Tools and expertise with conversion techniques
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Knowledge of and ideally experience working with online analytics, online search, CRM and merchandising vendors.
  • Excellent matrix and change management skills including the ability to influence and build highly effective working relationships across all business functions, with a proven track record of delivering complex ecommerce solutions on time and on budget

Senior Hybris Developer, London

Rapha are implementing an IT system roadmap to support our growing international brand and we need talented people to develop and support key parts of the architecture. Digital Marketing Executive, London

The Role:

  • Effective management and growth of international PPC campaigns, in conjunction with our appointed digital agency

Web Design Intern, London

The Rapha Web Team is looking for a paid Intern to join them for three months. This is a chance for a creative and web savvy individual to gain hands on experience while helping to develop and grow Rapha’s online presence.

The web team sit at the heart of the company and have key contacts with various business departments including Central Marketing, Merchandising and Technology.

The Role

The role will be split between two main areas:

Day-to-day

Preparing content for all online outputs. For example, new product pages, email communications, film features and blog posts.

Web Design

Improving the website: creating new page templates and sections for latest products, initiatives and events.

Role

  • You will be working within the Product Development and Design Department, making both in-house and factory samples
  • Work closely with the Product Development Manager, Pattern Cutters, Designers and Developers to ensure prototypes are ready on time
  • Resolve issues with the makeup of garments, taking into consideration bulk production
  • Follow Specification and Garment instructions clearly, identifying issues or potential problems
  • Oversee the Sample Room (maintain pattern library and keep up to date with fabrics, trims and accessories)

The Role

  • Source appropriate real estate sites for the opening of new Cycle Clubs in partnership with Heads of Marketing in each region and the Retail Operations team

A people person, the Cycle Club Sales Associate is able to uncover all the customer’s needs through conversation, and using their Rapha product knowledge and road cycling experience can build the perfect Rapha solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the legendary Rapha experience by engaging, developing and maintaining relationships with all Cycle Club visitors.
  • Drive sales by effectively uncovering the customer’s needs and presenting appropriate range solutions.
  • Provide expert Rapha product knowledge.
  • Create a friendly and welcoming environment, where the sport and culture of road cycling can flourish.
  • Communicate positively about the brand at all times, be a Rapha Ambassador and bring to life Rapha’s core values: Passion, Determination, Creativity & Communication.

We will also serve a café menu with the finest quality produce, along with beer and wine. We are currently looking to fill a part-time position, with flexible scheduling.
