Rapha Cycle Club Tokyo

The Rapha Cycle Club Tokyo is located in the Kita-Sando area, just a few minutes walk from the high-fashion Omotesando and Harajuku districts, or a short bike ride from Shinjuku, Shibuya, and the 2020 summer Olympics road race venue. Live screenings of all major races are perfectly timed for after work hours drinks and meals with fellow fans. A full service cafe has a regionally unique food menu and drinks. Regular Rides

Wednesday Club Ride

Weekdays in Tokyo are very busy and crowded but if you look carefully, beautiful moments can be found here and there. The Wednesday morning Club Ride is the ideal “quick one” before work. We roll out just before any heavy traffic. A healthy sweat followed by good coffee makes you feel happy all day.

  • Time: Departs CCTYO at 7:00am, Returns by 9.00am.
  • Distance: Our Wednesday Club Ride ranges between from 20-30km.
  • Pace: The pace is recreational with spirited bursts, with a no-drop policy to accommodate all riders.
  • Route: Varies each week, check @raphacycleclub on Instagram or Twitter for updates.
  • Terrain: Please note that our rides stick primarily to the road they sometimes feature very steep climbs of more than 20% but these are all very short.
  • Requirements: A road bike, helmet and clip-in pedals. Please remember to bring tyre changing tools and a spare tube. Riding snacks and drinks are also strongly recommended.

Saturday Club Ride

The Saturday Club Ride is a perfect weekend start for cyclists. Traffic is very light on Saturday morning in Tokyo. The Saturday Club Ride follows narrow roads and short but steep hills taking in beautiful landmarks along the way. This is the perfect way to enjoy Tokyo with a bike.

  • Time: Departs CCTYO at 8:00am, Returns by 11.00am.
  • Distance: Our Saturday Club Ride ranges between from 30-40km.
  • Pace: The pace is recreational with spirited bursts, with a no-drop policy to accommodate all riders.
  • Route: Varies each week, but every route has a « short but very steep hill” and “landmark of Tokyo”. Sometimes we pass beautiful bayside scenery or an ancient Edo-era temple. Check @raphacycleclub on Instagram or Twitter for updates.
