Head of eCommerce, London

Rapha operates a unique and compelling business model – selling an exclusive performance brand direct to our consumer mainly via our website and through Rapha’s own global retail stores. Our website generates 70%+ of global sales, evenly spread between UK, US, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

This role focuses on website conversion and execution of the eCommerce roadmap. It requires strong project management skills and a customer-led mindset. Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer the Head of eCommerce will be key in ensuring the commercial effectiveness of Rapha’s online presence in synch with the rest of the business.

The Role

  • Develop and execute the eCommerce strategy, working closely with colleagues in Technology, Web Design and Marketing
  • Drive improvements in customer conversion such as purchase path, check out, website functionality and usability
  • Ensure that the rapha.cc business is performing well as a brand building opportunity by ensuring the website offers a best-in-class content experience
  • Work with Marketing on developing online campaign execution and broadening campaign reach through digital channel
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure the user experience and customer conversion for each regional locale is optimised
  • Develop and execute plans to broaden the geographic reach of the brand to agreed geographies
  • Effectively communicate the eCommerce roadmap to the business, demonstrating support for and prioritisation against business drivers

The Role

Sample Machinist, London

The Product Development team is looking for an established Sample Machinist to join its growing department. This is an exciting opportunity with scope for progression and development within one of most highly regarded brands in the industry.

Role

  • You will be working within the Product Development and Design Department, making both in-house and factory samples
  • Work closely with the Product Development Manager, Pattern Cutters, Designers and Developers to ensure prototypes are ready on time
  • Resolve issues with the makeup of garments, taking into consideration bulk production
  • Follow Specification and Garment instructions clearly, identifying issues or potential problems
  • Oversee the Sample Room (maintain pattern library and keep up to date with fabrics, trims and accessories)

The Candidate

The Role

  • Source appropriate real estate sites for the opening of new Cycle Clubs in partnership with Heads of Marketing in each region and the Retail Operations team
  • Finalise business cases for each new location, collaborating with the Retail Operations and Finance teams
  • Project manage the Cycle Club shop-fits, working with our architects to commission designs and managing relationships with contractors
  • Be responsible for meeting the budget for shop-fits and operational expenditure
  • Manage legal documentation, including ensuring all relevant planning permissions are in place and regional differences are accounted for

The Candidate

Marketing Project Manager, London

Quality Manager

Garments, quality and suppliers: These will be your three watchwords.

You will have already spent a good few years working worldwide within the garment industry. You’ll understand what makes a supplier tick; when to be tough and when to give them TLC. You’ll spot if they are having challenges on quality even if they don’t tell you. You will either have set up, or played an integral role in, a Quality Management System for garments. How to take your colleagues and suppliers on the quality journey will be something you relish and they’ll be eager to follow your shining light. Spending time overseas in factories is something you enjoy. Hopping on a plane at a moment’s notice in a crisis doesn’t faze you. At suppliers you will be used to checking through garments quickly and accurately against the spec. You’ll have excellent judgment knowing when to stand firm on a product not fit for release and when the microscope is being applied too rigorously. If something goes wrong with a product, you’ll know just how to fix it and you’ll be able to minimize Rapha’s losses. Fabric, zips, trims, seams, buttons, sublimation, knitting, threads, stitching, bonding, AQL, auditing – you’re the expert.

As Rapha grows, so will your responsibility and need to build a team. Reporting directly into the Supply Chain Director, you will play an active role in shaping Rapha’s future. This will include creating a clear strategy for quality, driving a robust process and implementing new systems, which will play to your strengths.

Accounts Assistant

Rapha is expanding international operations significantly year on year. Accordingly, the finance team is growing to support the business. The role

  • Processing purchase invoices and credit notes
