Cycle Club Rides

Located in the Marina District, the Cycle Club is just a 10 minute ride from the Golden Gate Bridge, gateway to Marin County with some of the best riding in the area. Join us for one of our weekly group rides or select a route from one of our cue sheets and set your own pace.

Special Rides

Join SF Ambassador Pia and the Rapha Cycle Club San Francisco on the 20th of July to ride 100km as part of the Rapha Women’s 100.

The Rapha #womens100 is a global event getting thousands of women around the world to ride 100km on the 20th July wherever they are.

We will meet at the Cycle Club for coffee and pre-ride snacks, then journey out to do Reverse Alpine Dam Loop and return to the Club for a glass of celebratory champagne.

This year we will host two waves to cater different speeds. Please see more info below and stay tuned for updates on Facebook.

Women’s 100

Time: 7:30am Meet/9:00am Ride

For Your Enjoyment:
Road bikes, helmets & shoe retention are required. Please remember to bring flat changing tools and a extra tube. Riding snacks and water are also strongly suggested.

Please be prepared to be outside and ready to go 15 minutes before your ride departs.

Saturday Club Ride

Join us every Saturday on our Club Ride, which takes riders over the Golden Gate Bridge and into Marin County. Marin County features some of the area’s best riding with the most varied terrain imaginable. As our Club Ride is unsupported, riders should come prepared with food, water, tubes, and any tools you might need.

  • Time: Meet at the Cycle Club at 8am, depart at 8:30am.
  • Distance: Our Club Rides range anywhere from 40-70 miles on average with plenty of options to split off should your schedule need you back sooner.
  • Pace: Our Club Rides average 15-17mph. While spirited at times, our rides have a “no drop” policy and we allow several chances to regroup
  • Route: Varies each week. For more information, please check @raphacycleclub or contact the club.
  • Terrain: Please note that while our rides stick primarily to the road, it is not uncommon for them to feature an off-road section.

Womens Ride

Our Women’s Ride embarks every Sunday morning and ventures into Marin County. Come prepared for 3-5 hours on the bike with some fantastic company.

  • Time: Meet at the Rapha Cycle Club San Francisco at 8.30am, ride leaves at 9am.
  • Distance: Our Club Rides range anywhere from 40-70 miles on average with plenty of options to split off should your schedule need you back sooner.
  • Pace: Our Club Rides average 15-17mph. While spirited at times, our rides have a “no drop” policy and we allow several chances to regroup

Thursday Stammtisch Ride

2544-stammtischIn addition to the weekly Saturday rides run by the San Francisco Rapha Cycle Club in partnership with the Biergarten in Hayes Valley, you can now join the regular Thursday ‘Stammtisch’ ride. ‘Stammtisch’ translates from German as ‘regulars’ table’, the gathering (and drinking) spot for locals in a neighborhood pub. Which is why the ride ends at Biergarten for a few frosty brews. This two-hour ride starts at the Cycle Club at 6pm and lands at the Biergarten at 8pm.

  • Time: Departs from the Rapha Cycle Club San Francisco at 6.00pm
  • Distance: Our Stammtisch Ride averages 25-30 miles in distance, we aim to land at the Biergarten at 8pm.
  • Pace: Our Club Rides average 15-17mph. While spirited at times, our rides have a “no drop” policy and we allow several chances to regroup

Womens Training Ride

Beginning Tuesday April 15th, we will be hosting a weeknight Women’s Training Ride every Tuesday. This ride is geared towards beginners and we aim to develop rider’s abilities throughout the summer ahead of the Women’s 100 on July 20th, where Women around the world will ride 100km.

  • Time: Departs from the Rapha Cycle Club San Francisco at 6.00pm on Tuesdays.
  • Distance: Ride distance will increase weekly from April 15th.
  • Pace: Our Womens Training Rides average 10-12mph.

  • Terrain: Strictly paved surfaces.
