Rapha Cycle Club Osaka

Located within walking distance from Osaka station, and on a major commuting route between Osaka and the Hanshin area, Rapha is pleased to announce the Cycle Club Osaka.

Being the second largest and arguably the most attractive city in Japan, Osaka is coloured with personalities, great food, and a love of celebration.

Rapha Cycle Club Osaka will be hosting events, exhibitions and, in partnership with the J-Sports channel, plenty of live road racing.

Tuesday July 15th

Rest Day

The first rest day for the peloton, the Cycle Club will be showing highlights of the previous 10 Stages.


Wednesday 16th July

Besancon – Oyonnax, 187.5km

The rested peloton have a tough day ahead with 4 Categorised climbs within the closing 50kms, a strong breakaway will fancy the stage win if they have a sizeable lead over the peloton on the descent.

Thursday 17th July

Bourg-en-Bresse – Saint – Etienne, 185.5km

Another up and down stage that sees the peloton travel south into Saint-Etienne. One for the sprinters.

Friday 18th July

Saint-Etienne – Chamrousse, 197.5km

A stage that promises to have an epic finale with the 18.2km long final climb into Chamrousse with an average gradient of 7.3%.

Saturday 19th July

Grenoble – Risoul, 177km

The second and final stage in the Alps will see the peloton tackle two legendary peaks. Expect to see plenty of frantic attacks in the closing few kilometre’s.

Sunday 20th July

Tallard – Nimes, 222km

A long stage after two particularly tough mountain stages could see a breakaway claim a stage win, if they can distance themselves away from the peloton and productively work together.

Monday 21st July

2nd Rest Day

A well deserved rest for the riders, a day for the riders’ to put their feet up. The Cycle Club will be showing the most exciting stages of the previous two weeks of racing.


Tuesday 22nd July

Carcassonne – Bagneres-de-Luchon, 237.5km

The longest stage of the race greets the rested peloton, with a HC category climb awaiting the riders which summits 20km from the finish, expect the weary riders to put on a descending masterclass.

Wednesday 23rd July

Saint-Gaudens – Saint-Lary Pla d’Adet, 125km

The shortest stage of this years race, however, that doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy for the peloton. The pace will be high with 4 categorised climbs to tackle the sprinters will be hanging on to the group trying not to get eliminated.

Thursday 24th July

Pau – Hautacam, 145.5km

A short stage that features the Col du Tourmalet, expect the peloton to get strung out on the climb followed by the fast descent into the final climb of the Hautacam, which is yet another summit finish.

Friday 25th July

Maubourguet Pays du Val d’Amour – Bergerac, 208.5km

A long flat stage heading north where the peloton will want to rest their legs for the final two stages that lay ahead.

Saturday 26th July

Bergerac – Perigueux, 54km

Individual Time Trial

The final opportunity to gain time on the Leader in this Time Trial, which is a very lumpy stage with two time checks, expect a tense run in towards the finish.

Sunday 27th  July

Evry – Paris Champs-Elysees, 137.5km

One of the most famous stages in world’s cycling, the stage is one for the sprinters and the GC Leader.

If you are looking to join one of our rides for the first time then we ask that you call and speak to one of our staff, as they can advise on the details of all upcoming rides.

Weekly Club Ride
We are showing why Osaka is called the City of Water.
We are riding about 30km along some rivers with almost no traffic light in the second busiest city in Japan.
Start and Goal is Osaka Cycle Club.
