Club Rides

Riding is central to the Clubhouse experience. We have two rides to choose from on a weekly basis, leading from the Clubhouse in Soho.

If you would like to join any of our rides for the first time, then we recommend dropping by the Clubhouse or telephoning us to discuss further.

All rides require RSVP, helmets, foot retention and a road bike.

Festive 500

Since 2010, the Festive 500 has challenged cyclists to ride a total of 500km on the eight days between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Once again we invite you to join tens of thousands of riders in testing yourself on the bike over the holidays as part of this growing festive tradition. Join Rapha New York as we attempt this winter milestone. All rides meet at the Rapha New York Clubhouse at 9am, with wheels up at 9:30am. All ride requirements apply, please RSVP if you plan on attending.

Braver Than The Elements

Women's Winter Milestone Ride - Saturday, December 17

Braver than the Elements is an invitation to all women to ride through winter, with a global ride taking place on Saturday, 17th December from all Rapha Clubhouses. #BRAVERTHANTHEELEMENTS #RAPHANEWYORK

Three groups will brave the NYC elements for a social, spirited, or adventurous 50 mile spin along the Hudson. We'll stop at the Fort Lee overlook to take in a view of the city, and have a quick coffee together at the Market before the return leg of the journey to the Clubhouse. Please bring a flat repair kit, snacks, and cash. Helmets and foot retention are required, and dress appropriately for the weather. 8:30am meet, 9:00am start.

Festive 500

Day one - December 24, 9am

Join us for day 1 of the Festive 500 for a scenic ride to Rockland lake. The ride will take us along the Hudson River over the George Washington Bridge, then north along 9W until we land at Rockland Lake. We will then returning to the clubhouse for post ride coffee.

Day two - December 25, 9am

Join us on day 2 of the Festive 500 for a fun ride up to The Market where we can stop for a quick coffee or hot chocolate and return ride to the clubhouse. The ride will travel up the Hudson River then onto the George Washington Bridge and continue up to The Market on 9W.

Join us bright and early for day 3 of the Festive 500 for a easy Monday morning. This ride will take 37 mile loop of the classic River Road to 9W back.

Day 4 of the Festive 500 takes in the climbs of River Road and then it is on to Nyack for a famous donut stop at Gypsy Donut. returning to the clubhouse via 9W on some well ridden roads. The ride will be around 60 miles long.

Day 5 takes you along the Hudson River across George Washington Bridge into New Jersey long scenic River Road to Piemont. A fantastic ride of 50 miles.

Day 6 of the Festive 500 is a quick out and back, as they say. We will take River Road out and 9W back, a 37 mile ride in total.

Join us on day 7 of the Festive 500 - we are almost there. On this day we ride up to The Market for a quick stop for a warm coffee or a hot chocolate for fuel to return back to the Clubhouse.

It's the last day and we have almost made it. To finish of the Festive 500 in great spirits we will ride the final 50 miles up and around the beautiful Oradell Reservoir, riding along some magic roads of the Hackensack River, returning to the Clubhouse to celebrate our Festive 500 week-long journey.

Wednesday Club Ride

For those in the know, the best time to cross the Hudson River is a weekday. Every Wednesday, we head over the George Washington Bridge for a quick 2.5 hours up River Road and back down Route 9W. This is a great way to grab a ride with fellow roadies away from the hectic weekend bike traffic. Whether you’re on vacation, visiting from another city, or just working a flexible schedule, this will be the ride to join.

  • Time: Meet at 8.30AM for coffee, wheels at 9AM from 159 Prince
  • Distance: 40 miles with 2000 feet elevation gain.
  • Pace: Pace is recreational yet spirited at times. Our rides have a “no drop” policy and we allow several chances to regroup.
  • Route: River Road out, 9W back.
  • Terrain: Please note that while our rides stick primarily to the road, it is not uncommon for them to feature an off-road section.
  • Requirements: For your enjoyment road bikes, helmets and foot retention are required. Please remember to bring flat changing tools and an extra tube. Riding snacks and water are also strongly suggested. TT bars are not allowed on any of our rides.

Whether you’re a seasoned racer or a brand new roadie, the Rapha Clubhouse New York rides provide the perfect opportunity to reach your fitness goals and meet new friends and training partners along the way.

  • Time: Meet for coffee at 8am, ride leaves at 8:30am from 159 Prince Street (at West Broadway)
  • Distance: Our Club Rides range anywhere from 40-60 miles on average with plenty of options to split off should your schedule need you back sooner. Note the ride level and route when you RSVP.
  • Pace: Pace is recreational yet spirited at times. Our rides have a “no drop” policy and we allow several chances to regroup
  • Route: Varies each week. Check on @raphacycleclub on Instagram or Twitter for updates.
  • Terrain: Please note that while our rides stick primarily to the road, it is not uncommon for them to feature an off-road section.
  • Requirements: For your enjoyment road bikes, helmets and foot retention are required. Please remember to bring flat changing tools and an extra tube. Riding snacks and water are also strongly suggested. TT bars are not allowed on any of our rides.
