Club Rides

Riding is central to the Cycle Club experience. We have two rides to choose from on a weekly basis, leading from the Cycle Club in Soho.

If you would like to join any of our rides for the first time, then we recommend dropping by the Cycle Club or telephoning us to discuss further.

All rides require RSVP, helmets, foot retention and a road bike.

Wednesday Club Ride

- Wednesdays

RSVP

For those in the know, the best time to cross the Hudson River is a weekday. Every Wednesday, we head over the George Washington Bridge for a quick 2.5 hours up River Road and back down Route 9W. This is a great way to grab a ride with fellow roadies away from the hectic weekend bike traffic. Whether you’re on vacation, visiting from another city, or just working a flexible schedule, this will be the ride to join.

  • Time: Meet at 10am for coffee, wheels at 10:30am from 159 Prince
  • Distance: 40 miles with 2000 feet elevation gain.
  • Pace: Pace is recreational yet spirited at times. Our rides have a “no drop” policy and we allow several chances to regroup.
  • Route: River Road out, 9W back.
  • Terrain: Please note that while our rides stick primarily to the road, it is not uncommon for them to feature an off-road section.
  • Requirements: For your enjoyment road bikes, helmets and foot retention are required. Please remember to bring flat changing tools and an extra tube. Riding snacks and water are also strongly suggested. TT bars are not allowed on any of our rides.
