Women’s Coached Rides with Tara Parsons

Elevate your riding and hone your skills with one of our coached rides. Rides are generally 50-60 miles and intended for the rider who already is familiar with such distance and is looking to gain instruction and feedback.

April 19 – Bike Handling and Cornering – Handle your bike with ease and feel comfortable in the saddle for hours. Take your corners cleanly, safely and effortlessly.

June 14 – Climbing and Descending Technique – Learn how to efficiently climb up and confidently descend down.

August 30 – Road Riding on Mixed Terrain – Expand your riding options by exploring the road less traveled. This clinic will teach you how to best handle your bike when hitting dirt and gravel roads.

CycloFemme Pep Rally

This year is CycloFemme’s fourth annual Global Women’s Cycling Day where we celebrate women’s cycling and riding together, at any level. Rapha Cycle Club is proud to host a CycloFemme Pep Rally on May 7. Join us to demystify the ride, meet the ride leaders, and party with other cyclists just like you.

An Evening with a Legend: Nelson Vails


Join us for a homecoming for Harlem-born Nelson “The Cheetah” Vails. His story is anything but traditional: Vails went from bike messenger to Olympian. Join us to celebrate his journey.

Spend time with a living legend on Monday, May 18, from 6-9 p.m. at the Rapha Cycle Club New York.

About Nelson Vails:

In 1984 Nelson became the first African-American to win an Olympic medal in cycling, and in 2009 he was inducted into the US Bicycling Hall of Fame. Nelson continues to ride and inspire people to live healthy lifestyles and is an ambassador of distinction for the sport of cycling.
